Deepak Chopra on What is Consciousness?

I have enjoyed reading Deepak Chopra’s books for some years now.
One book in particular that I like is called The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success: A Practical Guide to the Fulfillment of Your Dreams

It is a wonderful introduction to our spiritual nature and how we are part of the field of pure potentiality.
What I also love about this book is that Deepak suggests we all read the same chapter on the same day of the week, that is on the first day we all read Chapter One and the second day, Chapter Two … and so on.
I love the idea that I can be reading the same words at the same time you are reading them. It’s a more conscious form of synchronicity.

Talking of consciousness, recently I also saw a short video by Deepak Chopra when Joan Borysenko mentioned it on her Facebook page.

It is called “What is Consciousness?”

You can watch it here on youtube … and listen to Deepak’s rich and vibrant tones talking about our true nature and describing the realm of quantum reality. He says “There is no matter. What we think of as tiny particles are actually not material at all but waves of potential. The physical world as we see it is not reality.” …
He talks about the true nature of reality being pure potential, infinite possibilities, infinite creativity. He says “This true reality has no beginning and no end. It does not exist in space and time; space and time exist within it! And this we call Consciousness“.

About Carole Brown

I come to the arena of leadership and transformation from my early days a physiologist and from my second career as a change management consultant and learning coach. My enduring love of biology and my curiosity about energy and life, attract me to many different spheres of knowledge and wisdom. One is "Resonance Repatterning", an energetic approach to transforming our patterns and moving beyond the blocks that keep us from reaching our highest self. I first studied RR in 2000. I am hoping that we humans have now evolved to a place where we can embrace evolutionary approaches to change and growth, in order that we as people, organisations, and communities can live in harmony with ourselves and with our precious planet.
